Commissions

Please contact Hana here or email hello@hanafranco.com for commission inquiries.

As a lifelong painter, Hana specializes in acrylic and watercolor, painting what inspires – from local landscapes, flowers and people to imagined scenes and custom commissioned pieces.

What is a commission?

A commission is a custom work of art created specifically for the client at their request. During the process of a commission, Hana will blend together the client's vision with hers, creating a truly unique piece of art. Commissioned pieces are one-of-a-kind and the client will hold the only existing version.

What types of artwork can be commissioned?

Hana accepts most landscapes, nature scenes, and abstract commissions, and is open to other ideas as well. Commissions can be inspired by a personal photograph from the client or a previous piece of artwork by Hana. There are exceptions, but Hana does not do close-up portraits and pets.

What is the process?

Once Hana and the client talk through the commission request and are clear on the client's vision and request, a 50% deposit will need to be paid prior to starting on the piece. Once the deposit is received, the request will be added to the waitlist. Hana works on commissions in the order they are received. The turnaround time for a commission will depend on the size and ask but will generally be around 4 weeks.

If you're interested in a commissioned piece or have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Hana here or email hello@hanafranco.com for commission inquiries.
